Many people asked us, what is the connection between the activities we have been doing. Here is the answer:
Tired of seeing people wasting their lives on things that don’t make them happy neither self-fulfilled, we were brainstorming how to change this perspective and limited people thinking brainwashed by society standards. Some of our friends, not yet reaching their 30s, already talking about lost dreams, getting old, not accomplishing anything, working at the same job, doing routine work that kills their creativity.
The question is WHY? Why would you want to put yourself in this situation, if the life change is only a step away, a conversation away, a click away, one single opportunity way. It is never too late to change your life…
To cut it short, we decided to start the movement inspiring people to find their passion within their lives and follow it thru. Easily said, hard to execute. Nevertheless, already being in the street wear industry, we created new clothing brand, The Legits, to spread the message across and sponsor individuals, The Legits Clan, who live their lives to the fullest. However, it is hard to inspire people just with a clothing brand.
That’s when the video production unit came to effect to trigger thoughts about changing one’s life, featuring lifestyle of successful people, living their passion.
The unit was named The Legits Studios, bringing passion moments to video screens and gathering knowledge and experience shared by worldwide urban artists via video documentaries. Everything has to change in brain first anyway. Clothes and video production were nice, but there was still something missing.
A place, a physical location to bring together “the legits”, people living their passion to vibe and share together, spread positive message across and have a blast after all. That’s why we created The Legits Blast festival, which takes place annually in a rather remote location, our hometown, Banska Bystrica, Slovakia.
It has been a bit over two years now since we started it all. With three divisions, we strive to make a difference…
